Difficult Police Oral Board Questions – Free Practice Interview Tips for Applicants

Let me be the first to tell you that the oral police interview is tough as nails. Image with several hypothetical questions related to the police by a panel of 4 to 6 people, who are trained to rate all their answers. If that’s not stressful, I don’t know what is. Do not panic because I have attached a sample question below that will be asked by the police oral meeting.

Question:

You are patrolling the north side of town when you notice a black Toyota Camry traveling at high speed. He immediately activates his light bar and stops the vehicle. As he leaves his assigned patrol car and approaches the traffic violator, he realizes that the driver is his cousin.

What will you do next?

Explanation:

Although this question may seem a bit complicated, it is not. In fact, the only thing the board members are trying to establish is to see if you are 100% honest with them. Because if you lie about this question, what else are you lying about? So make sure you are real and very honest when answering a question like this. With that said, let’s take a closer look at the question.

We all know that you won’t write a ticket to a family member in the real world, so don’t lie and say that you would unequivocally write a ticket to your cousin. That’s just a big lie. The correct answer should be that you would not write a fine to your cousin. However, I would explain to him not to speed through the city again and that they are putting him in a difficult position.
