Playing now "The American tragedy"

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to take measures to rectify those crises that have continued to subjugate the population to wallow in despair praying for better times ahead. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And that is what we have here and what we must do today. It’s a shame that so many people have their heads in the sand without realizing the enormity of how bad things really are. The structure of denial is a very common trait, especially among the Republican Party.

What this current health crisis has done has blown holes in the already very fragile framework of our economy, has shown the deep divisions in our society, and has shown that we have had leadership failures for far too long. Before this pandemic, contrary to what the pulpits or should we say puppets claim, the American economy and our social fabric is rapidly deteriorating at a faster rate than anyone has ever noticed. The state of denial, especially by members of Congress, and their inability to defend citizens is well documented. His inability to provide financial aid when America needs it most is a testament to his audacity.

The complexity of today’s events has increased our lack of concern for a unifying factor that would bring this nation back together. When Space X established four for the International Space Station, when a vaccine is now ready to be launched amid a president who won’t budge, show cases of how unifying factors are overshadowed by forces of distraction. When it comes to our economy or what’s left of it, there is also a unifying set of factors, but they are all part of the distracting forces in our Congress. These distracting forces actually create more division in our society.

Millions of people who are trapped and see no way out of the cycle and the circumstances they find themselves in have for years been denied the opportunity to relinquish the yoke of oppression that is still applied by the policies of our own government. The past year we have seen the ugly head of the Trump Administration’s tyranny rise up and inflict collateral damage on the health of nations and our economy. The pandemic only accelerated the rise of the divide that continues to harm America’s health, security and stability.

If we do not realize what is really happening to our society when elected officials polarize the country instead of reaching a unification agreement, the United States will be a nation that has truly lost its way. And that’s the American tragedy that is already unfolding on the world stage. Is this our destiny or are we mentally equipped to address the issues and crises that are destroying the framework our founding fathers forged for this nation? Implementing the Ten Articles of the Confederation of National Economic Reform as the roadmap for our future is vital to the future of America.
