There is nothing worse than an aggressive puppy. You try to sweet talk and he gets aggressive. He tries to raise his voice so the pup knows who’s in charge. And, still, no adjustment in behavior. Aggression in Lab puppies is something that needs to be dealt with immediately. If left untreated, aggression in a Lab puppy can snowball into a situation where you are no longer in control. Don’t be embarrassed by your Labrador’s aggression. Know the signs so you can reverse the aggression and be in control. Don’t be a victim of shame; or worse yet, injury! Common signs of aggression in Lab puppies are:

o Growing when a human approaches its food. Typically, the Lab puppy will snarl or snarl when a human walks towards its food or tries to move the food bowl.

o Excessive biting even when told to stop. If he has raised his finger and firmly said no, he should stop biting immediately.

o Tail raised during human interaction. If you or another human is playing with the lab pup and it has its tail up, this could mean it’s not having fun, but it’s still in defense mode.

o Reveal their teeth when approached by other humans. If another human approaches your lab pup and bares his teeth, he is defensive against strangers. This could turn into a severe assault in the future.

o Possessiveness of toys. If the Labrador doesn’t let you near his toys or hides them, this could be a sign of aggression.

or Curly Lips. Lab puppies will not curl their lips up unless they are feeling aggressive.
