Buy a ticket or play the game!

I remember playing football as a free agent during rookie camp, running all over the field trying to do the right thing and make the big play to get the coaches’ attention. However, at the beginning of the actual training camp, when the whole team came together, the veterans and “big names” would make the plays look easy and just play at a faster speed. The rush plays I made a week earlier seem hard to remember because you could quickly see these guys were on another level with their game. There’s no time for self-pity in the NFL or any professional sport. You can buy a ticket and watch from the stands or remember that you are a player too and learn how they are doing and do it quickly!

Fast forward 20 years later and the same can be said and applied in my business as an internet marketer. At a recent Internet Marketers conference in Las Vegas, there were many veterans and big names on stage and in attendance who discussed marketing strategies and ideas for their business. These speakers presented information that was on another level entirely! From the very beginning, it was apparent that these guys deserved all the accolades that were coming their way because when you hear their personal stories of overcoming many challenges, their big dreams and ideas, and their drive and work ethic to succeed, everyone in attendance knew that they were the real deal.

I decided to step up my game and really spend my time being the best internet marketer that I can be. I interviewed and asked many questions of everyone I came in contact with. I made the decision right then and there to commit to growth and fight the growing pains of getting better every day. It’s not enough to sit back and watch others tell you their story and you don’t have your story ready for the world to hear.
