Cavachon dogs are loving companions

Cavachon dogs are a mixed breed that has both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frize. They are specifically bred for human companionship and due to their size they are not suitable as watchdogs other than giving you a very strong warning when visitors are at the door. Aside from the severe warning barks, they are presented to anyone with energy and a big smile on their face.

Body

Most Cavachon dogs will have a solid white coat or a mix of white, light brown, or peach fur. Unlike other smaller dog breeds, the Cavachon has a fairly strong skeleton and a muscular build for its size. Due to their small size, they are not known for hip or joint dysplasia problems.

Behaviour

They are known as a breed of dog that people like and are not particularly happy when they are alone for a long period of time. This is not usually a problem for most owners, as Cavachon dogs are fairly easy to take anywhere you go for the most part.

Maintenance

Your Cavachon will require frequent combing, trimming, and bathing to keep it free from skin irritations and knots in its coat. Styling should be done daily to keep knots to a minimum. While some dog breeds will make grooming feel like a nightmare to you: Cavachon dogs love to be groomed, groomed, trimmed, bathed; Anything that makes them look and smell beautiful seems to make them feel wonderful.

One of the best benefits of having a smaller breed like this is that they are so small, yet packed with energy that they can get plenty of exercise while you sit comfortably on your couch. It by no means means that they don’t like going out, but they don’t need the space a larger dog needs to get their heart rate up.
