Cheap cars are easy to find if you look in the right place

It seems like everyone these days is looking to buy cheap cars, but very few of them know where to look. I have been buying cheap cars for the last two years and I have to say if you look hard enough you can find them. Whether you’re looking to buy a car for your own use, recondition, or sell, the key is patience.

The first thing you need to do is decide what type of because you are looking for. This can be easily done by doing a simple search on Google. Once you’ve decided on the car, you should check Kelly Blue Book to see what the private party is worth. To me, a cheap car is one that is at least 25% lower than the KBB value. The best deals are when you can find one for 50% or more of the value. These are the ones I usually end up reselling.

Once you manage to find a particular cheap car that interests you, you should contact the seller and then try to negotiate a price. You’d be surprised how many sellers are willing to sell your car for a fraction of the price. Most of the sellers you find like this are “desperate sellers” who need money and they need it fast. This is the type of person you are looking for.

People like this usually list their cars right away for 5%-10% cheaper than KBB value, and also (in most cases) include “OBO” at the end of their ad (meaning “O Better offer”). So be sure to target ads that say “OBO” first. If you’re not looking for a particular car, these ads should be the first ones you look at on KBB for price.

Before buying any type of car, you should also check the history of the vehicle. This can be easily done on sites like car fax where you can get a history report as long as you have the VIN number. Once you have verified the vehicle history report, it is time to contact the seller. Before negotiating any kind of price, you should first test drive the vehicle and inspect it for any defects. This must be done before buying the car.

all in all, cheap cars they are really easy to find if you know where and how to look for them.
