Desktop search is not a search – this one is and has a random option

Where are all the Great Desktop Search apps?

If put to the test, network search programs would not be up to this search.
Net and Desktop Search are opposite ends of the search spectrum.

Your PR/advertising on the web may look impressive.
Many search engine sites and blogs are the work of paid hackers or staff puppets.
They make finding honest search news and reviews difficult.
Your product is complex, overloaded with options and lacking in them.

Internet searching finds ranked results, that is, those who work in technology or pay to get to the top.

(Net search, not search, more like marketing)

People mainly use Internet search to find information that is new to them.

With personal search, users rarely want to find information that isn’t theirs.
Why rummage through C or Net drive, presenting readme.txt, ads
and a host of other unwanted information.

With personal search, I want every occurrence. And I want it in the same order.
(Occasionally I find differences between the two sets of search results)

-They are re-indexing all the time. This not. It is a “search” engine.

-No background processes, running unnoticed. This app will never snoop or gossip.

-On my production machine, I don’t want any internet connection.

If you are on the network, you can be hacked.

No firewalls, pop-up blockers, indexers, and the resulting slowdown.

I want a search, which also works, in this high-speed and secure environment.

-They brag a lot about how quickly they return results. Internet is relatively slow

and count the hits that do not appear on the screen. “Showing 1-8 of 2,345 results”

It’s silly to count, let alone search for something that won’t show up.

On a human scale, anything less than 10 seconds is fine.

-This search, searches at 20 million characters per second and will be faster

as processor speed increases.

-Net search companies have to focus on security because of all the hacking.

Restricting access frustrates search engines to the point where they stop using it.

Desktop Search is the most important program on any computer.

The Big Feature (RANDOM)

This app can select random video file. (2 external drives with more than 500 videos)
