Fertilize Crops in FarmVille: A Step-by-Step Guide

Fertilizer is randomly awarded in the FarmVille game. Nevertheless; To be eligible for fertilizer, and to increase your chances of getting FarmVille fertilizer, you must help your neighbors and work on your farm.

Step 1 – Visit your neighbor’s farm:

Login to the FarmVille game and click on one of your farmer neighbors. Select the visit/help icon and you will be taken to your neighbor’s farm.

Step 2 – Help your neighbor:

Do some work on your neighbor’s farm. Accept the tasks that your neighbor has posted. You can chase crows, rake leaves, chase a gopher, scare away a fox, or even pull weeds to earn fertilizer.

Step 3 – Receive Fertilizer:

You may receive your fertilizer the first time you help your neighbor, or it may take several visits to multiple neighbors to earn your FarmVille fertilizer. It is a totally random feature of the game. You’ll know you’ve received your fertilizer when you see a small blue and white bag icon with a x5 label.

Step 4 – Fertilize your neighbors’ crops:

You can’t fertilize the crops on your own farm, so go ahead and fertilize your neighbor’s crops. Hopefully, they will in turn fertilize your crops when they receive fertilizer. This is what good neighbors do for each other.

Step 5 – Harvesting Fertilized Crops:

When your neighbor’s fertilized crops are harvested, you will receive the usual payment in coins, mastery points, plus one experience point, and bonuses.

Interesting FarmVille Facts:

– Fertilized crops will be much larger than normal crops and will be highlighted with moving stars.

– You can only fertilize a plot of land with a bag of fertilizer.

– You can only receive a maximum of 5 bags of fertilizer per neighbor, per day.

– Your neighbor will receive bonuses when their fertilized crops are harvested.

FarmVille Farming Tips and Tricks:

– The amount of fertilizer you have available will be indicated above the photos of your “Friends”.

– Withered crops or vacant land cannot be fertilized.

– You must be a farmer of level 4 or higher to fertilize crops.
