Located at the southern tip of Taiwan, Kenting National Park is a scenic retreat with white sand beaches, coral reefs, and northern mountains. Its main resort, Kenting Town, features street food stalls, restaurants, and bars. The park also features Dajianshan peak and Frog Rock outcrop. From the peak, you can view a stunning view of the surrounding scenery.

This tropical park is home to a variety of species, including rare coastal and tropical monsoon forests. It also is home to more than two hundred species of migratory birds. The most famous is the gray-faced eagle. If you are a fan of birds, this place will be a real treat.

The park also contains coral caves and other natural wonders. The coral ridges, which were once underwater, are now a thriving park with over 1,000 species of plants and animals. The park also features 17 scenic spots linked by designated walkways. Highlights of the park include the 400-year-old Looking-glass Tree, stalactites, and banyan trees.

This national park is located in the southernmost part of Taiwan, in Pingtung County. Although not on many people’s travel lists, Pingtung County is a great destination if you’re looking for outdoor activities. Stunning beaches and lofty cliff faces are just some of the reasons to visit this stunning area.

Kenting is a popular destination for divers and hikers. Most people travel from Kaohsiung, where there is convenient public transportation. Alternatively, you can take a Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus for NT$401 one way, or NT$650 round trip.

The park’s coral caves are decorated with swirls of reef columns, dripping stalactites, and gentle mounds of stalagmites. Fairy Cave is another popular attraction. Fairy Cave offers narrow passageways between hefty limestone rocks. Although it’s not the largest national park in the world, it has a fascinating landscape.

The first beach in the park is Nanwan Beach, which is a large and busy beach. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and bars. There’s also a 7-Eleven, so you can get a quick snack or drink. The waves here are not too high, but they’re good enough for surfing. Despite its popularity, Nanwan Beach is not ideal for snorkeling.

In addition to beaches, Kenting National Park is home to various museums and nature parks. There are numerous hiking trails and natural areas to explore. You can visit Jialeshui Beach, Sheding Nature Park, and the Eluanbi Lighthouse, just to name a few.

The park is home to a diverse population of birds and animals. Its 210-plus species of birds include migratory birds from East Asia. The park also contains an abundance of sea birds, as well as a diverse range of freshwater fish. The park also has 59 reptiles and amphibians.

The best way to travel around Kenting National Park is to rent a scooter or car. Both methods are convenient and inexpensive, but you must make sure that you have a valid driving license. It’s also possible to rent a private driver from a hotel or cab driver. A bus doesn’t provide the most convenient transportation around Kenting, but it’s not the worst option either.
