Super HD Streaming and Airplay now supported by NetFlix for iOS 7

This latest version of NetFlix includes some special features like playback and also some other stability improvements. Although this seems to be a “change of plans” on the part of NetFlix, however, it is good news for all Apple iOS 7 lovers. Now you can watch all your favorite TV episodes and movies available on NetFlix in Super HD.

Earlier in the year 2011, NetFlix officials announced that they had no plans to develop a new version compatible with AirPlay. Instead, the company suggests subscribers use the dedicated app built for the same purpose on their Apple TVs. Now it seems that they have changed their plans and incorporated “AirPlay support” in their latest version.

This new version allows iPad, iPod touch and iPhone users to stream NetFlix content to their devices directly without having to use any apps on their set-top boxes. The hurdle of navigating to the app on the set-top box in order to watch videos is said to have been completely removed with the advent of AirPlay support in NetFlix 5.0.

Now with the help of the AirPlay streaming tool included in the new version, videos and movies can be seamlessly streamed to your Apple TV. This no longer requires AirPlay mirroring, so users don’t need to be tied down with any distracting app while watching their favorite TV episodes or a movie.

NetFlix, an “Emmy” winning online service provider, has made it possible for all its members to have access to “Super HD” streaming last week. But, this new update from the company has brought the iOS 7 family into the group, which is great news for all “Apple” fans.

This upgrading allows Apple users to view images in 1080p HD and the only catch here is that they should be running the new iOS 7 on their devices. HD service also depends on the Internet Service Provider you subscribe to. People, who have already given a hint to the new version 5.0, claim that to be able to watch in Super HD, a minimum internet speed of 5mbps is required. And to take full advantage of the service and get the best picture quality available on NetFlix, an internet speed of 7mbps is required.
