The best Chinese tea bags I’ve tasted in the world

I came back to Hong Kong and discovered something called Luk Yu Tea. It’s for sale everywhere, every supermarket, tea house, fast food shop, office, you name it. So I was tempted to try it. I mean, I’m a tea lover myself and I know a lot about Chinese tea, so I tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. So I bought a box of Hong Kong Chinese Luk Yu tea bags and was amazed at the taste and quality of the tea they use. It’s certainly not the low-quality tea that most well-known brands use. It tastes delicious. Not too weak, just the right strength, and now I know why. This is because they put more chinese tea in their tea bags than most other tea bag companies.

After trying one of the six flavors, I went to the supermarket and bought the rest to try. I bought Luk Yu Jasmine Tea Bags, Yunnan Green Tea Bags, Pu Erh Tea Bags, Iron Buddha Tea Bags, Oolong Tea Bags, and Sow Mei Tea Bags. Still the best Chinese tea bags I found in Hong Kong.

After my trip, I brought a suitcase full of Chinese Luk Yu tea bags with me to the UK. Then one day, I was walking in Exeter, past the St. Thomas train station, I saw a restaurant called Shanghai Night, so I went in and checked out their food. I saw an oriental supermarket. While you’re at it, I went in and took a look. You wouldn’t believe it. The shop was very well organized, clean and tidy, a very generous selection of food and drink and the staff were also very helpful. I went through the drinks section and guess what I found: Luk Yu Chinese Teabags. Luk Yu Chinese tea bags are everywhere. You have to try it to believe it.
