Types of exercises for man boobs that work

Getting rid of man boobs can be a real challenge, especially when the embarrassment and pain of man boobs makes it hard for some men to even hit the gym, so it’s important to know the types of man boobs exercises that work.

1) Aerobic Exercise

This type of exercise, when performed at the proper intensity, uses fat as the predominant energy source. Aerobic exercise includes things like walking or jogging, biking, rowing, elliptical, swimming. You should try to accumulate up to 40 minutes of aerobic exercise 4/5 times a week. At first, you may only be able to walk at a brisk pace for 10 minutes or less, that’s okay! Just keep building it slowly over time and you will see improvements quickly.

2) Resistance training

Resistance training includes weight training with machines and free weights. The goal of resistance training is to stimulate muscle growth by putting them under tension, the muscle adapting to this new level of effort required for growth. Resistance training is a great exercise for man boobs and it has 2 great benefits, not only does it make your body look firmer, but muscle is also active tissue, it burns calories, so as you build muscle, your body fat will also decrease, why? Because the muscle is using that fat to ‘feed’ itself during the course of the day.

If starting a resistance training program start 3 times a week with at least 24 hours between sessions, yes you will be sore the first few times but as the muscle adapts it becomes much easier. My advice would be to do total body exercises to start with and as you start to see gains, do more specific exercises. what do I want to say with that?

Well, a squat uses a lot more energy (calories) than, say, push-ups, right? In addition, the squat works your back, your core and your legs. therefore, you will build a greater amount of muscle overall and as we said, the more muscle = more calories burned, the more calories burned = the faster man boobs will come off!

Here are some full body man boob exercises, but make sure you get the workout from a qualified fitness instructor before doing them:

  • squats
  • lunges
  • dead elevators
  • clean and press
  • standing overhead press
